CASE STUDY SUMMARY

The patient’s parents always knew something was not quite right because she continually snored at night. It was at the patient’s hygiene appointment that they found out about the MYO therapy. The parents realized while working with this office and their ENT (Dr. Jacobson) that they now have a better understanding of the correlation between their daughter’s tongue and her tonsils. The patient’s tonsils are very enlarged and her adenoids could not be seen.  The patient’s mother states that she is fully confident that if her daughter had not done this therapy they would have never have realized what was going on with her. The patient’s mother feels without this therapy they would not have known about this and it has changed the patient’s life. The patient’s facial profile has also changed since starting this. Her mother states that she looked at pictures from just a year ago and notices that the patient’s teeth have even changed because they now have more room. The patient is having surgery to have tonsils removed and wants to continue to have therapy to make sure her tongue stays in place. Her mother states this has been such a great therapy and she is so glad she did this for her daughter.
