Linsey Carter– Dental Hygienist

Linsey is a dental hygienist with our therapy team. She has a special interest in myofunctional therapy. She is passionate about getting to know patients and helping them understand the correlation between oral health and overall health. When asked about her favorite memory with a patient, she responds, “My first patient in dental hygiene school was afraid and had not been to the dentist in many years. Any issue that there was to find, we found it. She challenged me and working together for 2 years, she became so compliant and found that if she worked hard at home, her visits would be easier. It paid off and just from her I learned so much. She was a lovely person and the relationship we had was so great.”

In her spare time, Linsey enjoys spending time with her husband, her daughter and her extended family.

Rachel Wilson– Certified Dental Assistant

Rachel joined Williamsburg Center for Dental Health in 2011 as Dr. Hall’s assistant and a member of our therapy team. She pursued her training in MYO therapy to increase her expertise in the dental field. She is a certified dental assistant, specially trained in dental sedation and certified in myofunctional therapy. Rachel is dedicated to helping fix teeth and airway issues as well as creating an environment where people feel well cared for and safe. She loves being about to establish good relationships with her patients and team members. One of her fondest memories is of a myofunctional therapy patient who no longer needed to wear his CPAP after just 13 sessions of therapy.

Outside the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves watching her son play baseball and her daughter’s acting performances as well as their swim meets. Rachel and her family are very committed to their church where she sings for the praise team and leads the youth praise team. Rachel also spends time with and mentors several teenage girls.

Dr. Stacey Hall– Clinical Director

Dr. Stacey Hall has been serving as a dentist in the Williamsburg community for over 17 years. She has always enjoyed looking at oral care comprehensively and looking at the patient as a whole. She began helping patients treat their orthodontic issues over 12 years ago, and then began managing their airway/sleep apnea issues over ten years ago. While she has always enjoyed the outcomes, Dr. Hall felt a piece was missing that would help with the long-term prognosis of both. She was uncomfortable with the fact that while she was straightening teeth, she wasn’t correcting the habits or muscle imbalance that caused them to be out of alignment. Dr. Hall also felt that managing airway issues with sleep apnea or snore device or with a CPAP didn’t have to be the final solution. She has always understood the positive health reasons to manage it but wanted to know how it could be treated for a long-term outcome without the aggravation of appliances or a CPAP. Understanding that the teeth and airway will follow what the function of the muscles are doing, she began to research what could be done to correct the poor muscle habits. Therefore, if the teeth are moving to imbalanced positions and the airway is collapsing, proper conditioning can assist in the correction of the problem. This is when Dr. Hall was introduced to myofunctional therapy and found the missing piece of the puzzle.

Dr. Stacey Hall and her husband Michael have been blessed with three beautiful girls, Lanie, Gracie and Abbie. She is a loyal Virginia Tech football fan and enjoys Bible study and mission work.
